Waiting
Presumably I will go to Bratislava soon for a project, which I am looking forward to very much. But here comes the "but", I will have to terminate my employment contract in Germany. If I want to begin in July I have to send in my termination until this friday. If I send it in later everybody will have to postpone the project start till August.
I just received a first draft of the prospective contract. But neither have we discussed the item of income yet nor has the chief officer of the council yet officially approved the project.
Everyone is very certain, that the project will be approved, and everyone is also very certain, that we will find an agreement on the salary.
And we have all spoken about the project start in July.
And I want this contract and this project to happen.
Now here comes the threshold question ("Gretchenfrage" in german, isn't that pretty ;-)):
Shall I terminate my contract within the next days so I can hopefully begin the project in July or shall I say "Sorry, I will terminate my present contract as soon as the new one is signed"?
